Start setup again
Open the settings cog in the app and choose Setup assistant. Cancelling setup keeps your current settings; completing it saves your selections.
App languages
German and English are confirmed. French, Italian and Rumantsch Grischun are local previews, not fully released app languages. Translated webpages do not change that status. Language and shopping country are separate settings; the options shown depend on your installed version.
Plans and purchases
Free includes recipe search, one seven-day plan, grocery lists and dietary filters without a subscription. Pro adds longer planning, saved plans, person profiles, pantry, own recipes, Wochenbiss JSON recipe import and budget, with monthly or yearly subscriptions on Apple devices and Android. Family is Apple-only and includes Pro with Family Sharing for up to six people in an existing Apple family group, subject to the purchaser's sharing settings. Family Sharing does not synchronise household data or grant an Android subscription. Available functions depend on the installed app version and relevant store offering. The store shows the binding local price, currency and billing period before purchase; subscriptions renew automatically. Use Restore purchases with the original store account, and manage cancellation through Apple subscription settings or Google Play. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. TestFlight purchases do not incur charges.
Regional shops
Choose Germany, Austria, Switzerland or the United States in setup or Settings & help > Country and region. Language and recipe cuisine are separate choices. Germany includes Aldi, Lidl, REWE and Edeka; Austria includes HOFER, Lidl Österreich, BILLA and SPAR; Switzerland includes Migros, Coop, Denner, ALDI SUISSE and Lidl Schweiz. The US selection contains Walmart, Target, Kroger, ALDI USA, Whole Foods Market and Safeway. Shop by region offers metric or US customary quantities and external retailer websites, not an automatically filled cart. Your own US prices use USD without taxes, deposits or extra charges; euro estimates are not converted. Check actual availability and labels with the provider.
Export shopping
Open Shopping > Share & export. Review your items, amounts and notes, then share, copy or save a text file. Apple Reminders requires your confirmation and permission on iPhone or iPad; it creates a separate list without return sync.
Connect household
Open the settings cog and choose Connect household. For the new local connection, keep iPhone, iPad or Android on the same non-guest Wi-Fi network with both apps open, and allow local network access when prompted. Follow the invitation and pairing flow, comparing the same six-digit confirmation code on both devices before approving. Selected household data is then transferred directly over an encrypted connection, without personal dietary profiles, allergies or Halal settings. A previous household connection that is still active may share those profiles. Check the connection type and sharing selection before syncing, and stop an older connection separately if needed. One active peer is currently supported; pair again after a restart. Continuous background sync or cloud sync while away from the local network is not promised. Purchase entitlements, delivery-service credentials and payment data are not transferred. Apple Family Sharing grants purchase access only; it does not sync household data or grant an Android subscription.
Pantry and stock powder
Matching pantry amounts are deducted once from the current plan. Units are shown at each field. Prepared vegetable stock is in ml in a recipe; shopping and pantry amounts use powder at 5 g per 250 ml. Check the actual jar's mixing ratio too.
Report an issue
Include the device, operating system, app version, affected screen and steps leading to the issue. Do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary health entries.
